Biographical Info TERRI FIELD BIO Terri grew up in Brown Deer WI and graduated from Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design with a double major of Illustration and Drawing. She was a recipient of a Fredrick Layton scholarship, and worked in the MIAD galleries. ​ Before graduating she began a career as a graphic designer/illustrator and eventually full-time illustrator. Her work was featured regularly in magazines and on several covers including Astronomy, Earth, Birder’s World, Bead & Button, Model Railroader, The Writer, and more. She then pursued a career in freelance work and fine art while taking time at home with her two young children. Being a mom led her to opportunities like artist in residence at local schools and painting sets for local theaters. ​ In 2018 she designed and implemented a sculpture, funded by the Oconomowoc Festival of the Arts, titled “Where The Waters Meet”. This 15′ sculpture is located on the GPS point of the city of Oconomowoc and located near City Beach.
