Susan Hoffman
Biographical Info Working with acrylic paints, watercolor, and photography, I am passionate about color and its effects. For 25 years I was a docent at the Madison Museum of Contemporary Art, writing curriculum for its SchoolsMuseumsART Project. I have participated in solo and group shows at Madison venues including the Governor’s Mansion, Promega, the Overture Center, the Wisconsin State Capitol, and the UW Arboretum. Multiple issues of the Agora (UW-Extension PLATO) have featured my artwork. Corporate owners include the Wisconsin Education Association Insurance Trust and the UW Hospitals and Clinics. My pieces are held in private collections nationwide. I am the author and illustrator of Henry’s Birthday Week, a pattern book for children ages 4-7, and its sequel, Henry’s Play on Words (ages 5 and up).
