Biographical Info From Appleton, Wisconsin Steve received his Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Wisconsin-Superior. He became active with the Northeast Chapter of WP&S/WAAM in 1991, and has since served as chapter chair, exhibition chair and program director. Assemblage is Steve’s primary medium though he can be seen at cultural events doing carcatures. He has participated in several public art projects as in Seattle and New York, including “The Gates” by Christo and Jean Claude. Extensive travel in Europe and Central America has influenced his art, which interfaces mythical or tribal imagery with popular cultural icons.
