Sheree Wood

Sheree Wood is a contemporary painter who merges the abstract with the representational with bold color and calligraphic marks. Her art practice is motivated by the thrill of discovery. Born in Ames, Iowa and raised in Madison, WI, Wood has lived in Spain, Venezuela, and Portugal. She studied art history in Madrid, Spain and Lisbon, Portugal and holds a BS and MA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She has studios in Tucson, AZ and Milwaukee, WI.
