Biographical Info My overall theme is the persistence of organic design in history. The earliest technologies were devised with a particular task in mind and often carried design elements directly from the art and culture that created them. While my work is entirely decorative, my aesthetic as an artist is firmly rooted in the techniques of my trade as an electrician/ blacksmith. I create modern relics using obsolete means. These objects highlight geometric and stylistic motifs from historical texts, runes, and tattoos, married with modern industrial designs such as circuit boards and wiring diagrams.
