Molly Brennan
Biographical Info I am a painter and mixed media artist who lives and works in Milwaukee. Lately, I have been incorporating metalsmithing and wearable pieces into my practice. I am also an educator who teaches at Wauwatosa East High School in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin where I teach Art Foundations (focus is observational drawing, color theory, and painting), Ceramics, and Art Metals and Fibers. I am proud to be part of a regionally and nationally recognized art department and to get to teach alongside 2 extremely gifted art educators. This past summer, I was asked to be the Artist-in-Residence at the Cape May Science Center in Cape May, New Jersey where I completed 13 new pieces of work. This body of work included 5 oil paintings (landscapes and beachscapes) and 8 mixed-media pieces where I visually responded to the unique eco-system in which I was working.
