Biographical Info At the onset, my drawings may simply seem to be a complex arrangement of circles, small motifs, and rich colors, but they are crafted with great intention. My work represents people I love, prayers sent out to the universe and deep meditation. A single drawing that can take months of work is built layer by layer to create an intricate and intense story to be read and interpreted by each viewer. My work is not political but still speaks to the human condition, the power of love and the richness of life. My latest body of work represents an ongoing artistic evolution, an extreme departure from my loose, impressionistic oil landscapes to detailed, large scale pen drawings. The work is delicate, intricate and intense. My work has become a voice for expression, not just renderings, moving from pretty paintings into a vehicle for meditative thought. It is meant to be rich and complicated and open to interpretation.
