Laurie Runnoe
Biographical Info I am a self taught watercolor artist in Brookfield, Wisconsin. Using social media as a teaching tool, I began to practice watercolors in 2018. I consider myself a purist in that I do not use black or white paint in my art and my palette is limited to 3 to 6 transparent colors per painting. Recently I have been using a method of sealing my watercolors with cold wax which enables them to be framed without glass. I believe the waxing adds a contemporary look to a traditional medium. I am a member of the League of Milwaukee Artists, the Wisconsin Watercolor Society, the Rogue’s Artist Group, and the Wauwatosa Artist Workshop.
