Kate Salas
Biographical Info Kate Salas is a ceramic artist based in Ripon, Wisconsin. She finds inspiration in the natural world, specifically Wisconsin’s landscape, flora and fauna. Her current body of work investigates sculpture in greater depth, with explorations into larger handbuilt forms, highlighting the quiet, natural beauty of the clay. Salas has exhibited work at The Museum of Wisconsin Art, Milwaukee Artist Resource Network, and Center for Visual Art Wausau as well as various artisan marketplaces throughout the year. She is a member of several arts organizations including Wisconsin Craft, Milwaukee Artist Resource Network, Mid-Wisconsin Visual Artist Connection and Horicon Bank’s Art Committee.
