Biographical Info I am a contemporary representational painter. My paintings are inspired by the effects of light, whether on a foggy morning, on a sunlit summer afternoon, or during the urban twilight. My goal is to give the viewer an authentic sense of the landscape, not by providing a photorealistic rendering but by conveying the mood of being present within the landscape. The opportunity to paint en plein air has allowed me to share my vision of the Wisconsin landscape and has further informed my studio work.
