Biographical Info Ellen Rosewall is Professor Emeritus of Art and Design at University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, having retired in 2019 after 20 years chairing the Arts Management program. Her primary artistic media are textiles, drawing and painting. Her acrylic murals, “Seasons,” are displayed at Triangle Park in Green Bay, and she has been exhibited at the Lawton Gallery (UWGB), Baer Gallery (St. Norbert College), the Art Garage (Green Bay), New Visions Gallery (Marshfield), Langdon Divers Gallery (Fond du Lac), University Union (UW-Madison) and Woman Made Gallery (Chicago). She has been part of Craftivist projects including the Exquisite Uterus Project, the Lake Chapala Project, 2.4 Million and Counting (displayed at the United States Supreme Court) and the Protest Banner Lending Library. As an author, Rosewall has published three books: “Arts Management: Uniting Arts and Audiences in the 21st Century” (Oxford University Press, 2nd edition 2017), “Arts and Cultural Management: Critical and Primary Sources” (Bloomsbury Press, 2015) and “Sparkle Island: Stories of Love, Life and Walloon Lake” (Raven Tree Press, 2000, short listed for the Great Lakes Book Award). In 2004, her collaboration “Triptych Aerie” was accepted into the Grand Rapids ArtPrize exhibition.
