Working intuitively, laying down paint and reacting to what happens, I hone in on what I want a piece to say as I go. It’s a journey where color, texture, and form speak for me – an internal dialogue expressed through painting. I’m interested in a direct path to emotional energy and I get rid of any technique or concept that gets in the way. I love when people connect with my art and it speaks to them on an emotional level and I hope that viewers go on a journey while taking in my artwork.
