The Southeast Chapter offers a variety of calls for its members.
Each call includes a prospectus that may be downloaded and a link to the application.

We offer juried and open-call opportunities.
We also offer two installation projects for artists to participate in: Ronald McDonald House Charities and Inventors Brewpub. These are ongoing calls and do not close. Every three months, we rotate the artwork at these venues. Follow the links below to learn more about these unique opportunities

GENERAL ART GUIDELINES for SOUTHEAST CHAPTER SHOWS

These are general guidelines that apply to all shows sponsored by the Southeast Chapter

  • Frames are not required for artwork unless specified in the show prospectus.
  • If you frame your artwork, frames must be wood or metal; plastic frames are unacceptable.
  • Mats are not required for artwork unless specified in the show prospectus. If you add a mat to your artwork, it is recommended that all four sides be the same width. At the very least, the two sides and top must be the same width, the bottom may be wider to add visual weight to the piece.
  • Each show will specify the number of pieces that may be entered in the prospectus. If you want to enter a diptych, that will be considered TWO PIECES; if you want to enter a triptych, that will be considered THREE PIECES.
  • All artwork must be ready to hang with a WIRED HANGER securely attached to the back of the piece. Large and/or heavy pieces may use D-rings. NO SAWTOOTH HANGERS or HANGING TABS will be accepted. Venues may have restrictions for hanging artwork, and those will be laid out in the show prospectus. 3D pieces may require special hanging apparatus, You should always contact the show manager with questions about your special hanging needs.
