Biographical Info Barbara Miner is a writer, photographer and multimedia artist; she received an MFA from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2023. Miner has more than 40 years’ experience in writing and publishing, and in recent decades has expanded her practice to include photography, multimedia printmaking and audio. Much of her work has focused on Milwaukee, including her most recent project, “Shadows of Industrialization,” which examines the collapse of once-powerful manufacturing industries in Milwaukee, and the effects on the city’s families, workers and neighborhoods.
