Biographical Info

Vicky Redlin bio.
I have always been involved in the arts, from art classes at the Oshkosh Public Museum in pre-school and elementary school, through evenings studying painting under Pat Henderson at Fox Valley Technical College (along with my grandparents) as a tweenager, to a bachelor of science degree in art from UWO. On the way I sang in the church children’s choir, danced at Richard’s School of the Dance, performed in Oshkosh North High School musicals, swing choir and madrigals, the jazz choir in college and an anniversary production of Man of La Mancha at The Grand with the Oshkosh Community Players. During my working career I covered the spectrum from radio advertising copy at WPKR to print marketing and digital pieces for Winnebago County Parks & Sunnview Expo Center for over 22 years. I started to travel and rediscovered photography. Now that I have retired I have found a way to combine my photography and painting skills, a process that I call “Enhanced Reality”. My photos are largely untouched without digital manipulation and the enhancement is done by hand with oil or acrylic paints. I am the president of Oshkosh Fine Arts Assoc. and chair of the city museum board (MAC Board) and a member of the Landmarks Commission, as well as numerous other boards, committees and projects. My work is available at Bowen Street Market in Oshkosh.
