Theresa Field

Terri grew up in Brown Deer Wisconsin and graduated from Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design. She then became a full-time illustrator. Her work was featured regularly in magazines and on several covers including Astronomy, Earth, Birder’s World, Bead & Button, Model Railroader, The Writer, and more. She then pursued a career in freelance work and fine art while taking time at home with her two young children. Being a mom led her to opportunities like artist in residence at local schools and painting sets for local theaters. In 2018 she designed and implemented a sculpture, funded by the Oconomowoc Festival of the Arts, on the GPS point of the city of Oconomowoc.

Now that Terri’s children have left the nest, she has focused on fine art. She hopes that by sharing parts of herself and her life experiences, others are inspired, connected or reflect on the echoes of their own past.
