Susan Farmer-Tiefenthaler

I am an emerita professor of art from the UW-Madison Department of Liberal Studies and the Arts. Since retiring I have continued my dual pursuit of art making and teaching. One stimulates the other. In my art, I tend to work in larger more abstracted acrylic and oil. Many students, however, want to learn watercolor, so I am challenged to delve deeper into its possibilities. A fascination with color, form, and art history permeates everything. Currently I teach watercolor through Pewaukee Rec. and Art Studio for Adults through the Hartland/Delafield Com. Ed. Program.
