Samira Gdisis

Samira Gdisis is a printmaker an
interdisciplinary artist, community builder and curator from Racine, Wisconsin. She often wonders aloud, “Who gets to do this? Who gets to live a life of creativity?”

Printmaking is both a passion and a bit of an obsession. She enjoys
creating in many mediums but especially in relief printmaking like linoleum cuts and has recently begun to explore white line woodcuts.

Samira holds a bachelor’s degrees in psychology, interdisciplinary art and
printmaking. She also has earned a Master of Art in museum studies. Her work has been shown in local, regional and national exhibits and purchased by collectors around the United States.
