Krista Baber

Hi, my name is Krista Baber, however when I function as an artist, I use my maiden name, Krista Roslof.
I currently live in Green Bay, with my husband Tom Daley. I have two children, both in college at the University Wisconsin Milwaukee.

I have always been an artist, and in 1987 was accepted at The School of The Art Institute Chicago. I proceeded to live in the city for the next twelve years. I maintained a small studio and sold art in local galleries and events.
Then in 1996 I moved to New York, where I lived in Brooklyn for eight years. I did manage to find a studio, that I shared with two other artists.
I had some success with a few group shows, and open studio events.
During that time, I started my culinary career, and for the next ten plus years, hijacked my life.
In 2006 I moved back to my hometown, Elkhorn Wisconsin. I focused on raising my family, and creating a home.
Fast forward, I’m finally in a position to focus on my fine art career. I feel like I hit the ground running. There is definitely a sense of urgency on my quest to experience life as a working artist.
