Heather Andresen

Native Mississippian and Wisconsinite by choice, Heather Andresen is a self-taught Madison based digital illustrator, acrylic painter, and mixed media artist. She is a local art market coordinator, co-owning Madtown Artisans with her business partner, Kaylin Retzlaff of The Artistry Studio, and has co-founded Nerd Made: Madison with other local artists and art market organizers. In the past year, Heather’s work has been exhibited at the Wisconsin Capitol building in the Rotunda, the City-County Building in downtown Madison, NAMI Dane County’s annual gala, “Sound Body, Sound Mind,” a Commonwealth Gallery exhibit featuring art inspired by the intersection of disability and mental health symptoms, diagnoses, and experiences, and “The Joy of Learning: Growth as Process,” a Latinos Organizing for Understanding and Development (LOUD) exhibit featuring art inspired by and celebrating the transformative power of joyful growth.
