Linda Glass

Linda Glass is an active, exuberant artist based in Green Bay. WI. She works in acrylic, oil/cold wax and mixed media. Ms. Glass’ art invokes a spirit of ‘joie de vivre’! Linda’s art career began as a corporate interior designer. As she grew in her design career, Linda became more imaginative and creative, engaging more in creating fine art. Her goal is to create pieces that invoke feelings rather than trying to copy realistic images. The mediums she works with accommodate this goal. Linda strives to create a depth within her work that is apparent not only to artist but viewer as well. Combined with her keen eye for design, the elements come together to create harmony within her work. Ms. Glass’ art is rooted in a love of color and charting new territories. It is further fueled by other activities she engages in: music, dancing, travel and athletics, both participating and appreciating. Each piece represents a culmination of appreciation for basic design elements coupled with a love to incorporate new methods and materials as they meld to create abstract images with feeling.
