Biographical Info
While I am largely self-taught, I took classes in visual arts at the California College of Arts in Oakland California in 1977-78, the Art Students League in New York City in 1979-1980, and the University of Norwich in Vermont from 1992 through 1994, culminating in a bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts. Over the past four decades, my paintings have been exhibited in galleries in New York City and Boston, along with the DeCordova Art Museum in Lincoln, Massachusetts and a one woman show at the Danforth Art Museum in Framingham, Massachusetts. I’ve worked extensively with oil paints, watercolor, egg tempera, oil pastel and sticks, acrylic and textiles. I now paint in Madison, Wisconsin and currently have 22 paintings on show at the Aubergine gallery.
