Collette LaRue

Collette LaRue is a photographer and creator of The Art Scene, a studio and exhibition space located in Historic East De Pere. LaRue’s work centers on the natural world. In recent years, she has turned to analog processes, including lumen printing, as a tactile and meditative counterpoint to the speed of digital media. These methods allow her to collaborate with time, and sunlight, resulting in singular works that blur the boundaries between photography, printmaking, and organic form.
